As part of the SAIGU Campaign for the commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Los Angeles Riots, Korean Churches for Community Development (KCCD), soon to be known as Faith and Community Empowerment (FACE), and the Pacific American Volunteer Association (PAVA), are hosting a film screening of Clash of Colors, along with an essay contest for students.

Clash of Colors is a 2012 documentary highlighting interviews and film footage of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. The LA Riots essay contest will give students an opportunity to write, and a few of the students will do presentations after the screening. The top 5 essays submitted will be awarded after review.
